Glynn County Courthouse Trees

Purpose & Background

It is the responsibility of the Tree Board to study, investigate, council, and assist annually in the creation or revision of a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas. These responsibilities are meant to foster and protect the City's tree population, protect persons and property against injury, and provide for a safe and efficient passage of persons, vehicles, and utilities through established right-of-ways.

Meeting Schedule

The Tree Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Membership Requirements

All members must reside within Brunswick's city limits and have an interest in urban forestry.
