Proclamations & Resolutions
Proclamations are official declarations issued by the City Commission to make known - special events and occasions. Common proclamations issued by the City Commission annually include Red Ribbon Week and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Resolutions are often used to celebrate, acknowledge, and remember the life, contributions, and accomplishments of an individual. A common resolution is the celebration of someone turning 100.
Anyone interested in having the City Commission consider a proclamation or resolution, please email this form to cityclerk [at] cityofbrunswick-ga.gov (cityclerk[at]cityofbrunswick-ga[dot]gov) or hand-deliver your request to the Clerk's Office. Be sure to include supporting documentation.
