Fire Chief Mobley Retires After 40 Years of Service!

Chief Randy Mobley

The City of Brunswick would like to recognize Fire Chief Randy Mobley for over 40 years of service to our community. Chief Mobley submitted a letter for retirement on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022.  The City of Brunswick is forever indebted to Chief Mobley for selflessly serving Brunswick for over four decades. Chief Mobley was hired in January of 1982 and worked his way through the ranks, ultimately achieving the rank of Chief in December of 2012. During his tenure, he implemented a Safety Smoke Alarm program which provided smoke alarms to all city residents and maintained a Class 1 ISO insurance rating.  His years of service will culminate 42 years of service to the department and 10 years of service as Chief of the department.  On behalf of the Mayor, the City Commissioners, and the City Manager’s Office, we wish Chief Mobley the best in his retirement.
