The City of Brunswick is seeking proposals from qualified contractors/individuals to provide professional construction/rehabilitation services for the building and rehabilitation of residential homes within the city. Selected contractors/individuals will enter an on-call continuing services agreement on an “as-needed” basis for a period of one (1) year, with the option for two (2) additional one (1) year renewals upon mutual agreement. The City anticipates selecting no fewer than two (2) and no more than four (4) contractors/individuals, with work to be assigned at the City’s discretion among the selected firms.

Future projects may include work in any of the categories listed below, though
the City may also require services outside of these categories. Proposals should detail the
contractors/individuals experience and qualifications in the following areas:
New Residential Construction: Construction of single-family and multi-family housing that
aligns with the City’s development goals, building codes, and architectural standards.
Contractors should demonstrate experience delivering high-quality residential construction
projects on time and within budget.
Residential Rehabilitation: Repair, restoration, and modernization of existing homes, including
structural, interior, and exterior improvements. Experience with historic homes or older
structures that require updates to meet current codes is highly desirable.
Site Preparation and Infrastructure: Work may include grading, utility connections, driveway
installation, sidewalks, stormwater management, and other site improvements necessary to
support residential housing development.
Exterior and Interior Finishing: Installation or repair of roofing, siding, windows, doors,
flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and other residential finish work.
Code Compliance and Permitting: Ensure all construction and rehabilitation work meets local
and state building codes and coordinates with City staff for inspections and permitting as
required.
